Woodchuck Mulled Cider

Happy National Hot Mulled Cider Day! It’s finally acceptable to start those roaring fires inside and sip those warm fall bevvies. Why not make it a mulled warm bevvie? Why not make it a WOODCHUCK Mulled warm bevvie? To celebrate the holiday, try out our recipe for Woodchuck Hot Mulled Cider!
What you’ll need…
- Crockpot or stovetop pot
- 5 bottles Woodchuck Amber (this gives you 1 from the 6-pack to enjoy while the cider is warming!)
- 3 oz. rum
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 orange
- 1 apple
- 12 whole cloves
- 4 sticks of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground nutmeg
- You can also add other spices like allspice berries & cardamom!
What to do…
Slice up your orange and apple, and combine the cider, fruit and all spices in your crockpot or stovetop pot. Heat at a slow simmer (do not boil!) for 45 min to an hour.
When ready to serve, add the rum and strain into individual mugs to enjoy!Back to Blog
