National Pretzel Day Cider Cheddar Dip!

The pretzel is something to be celebrated, and today’s the day to do it. It’s #NationalPretzelDay! Baked and warm, or small and crunchy, the chip alternative is always present at your snack table. Though content on their own, pretzels and dip are a natural pair. So why not make it cheesy? Better yet… why not make it with CIDER? Welp, we’re here to help. Praise the pretzel with our #NationalPretzelDay Cider Cheddar Dip!
- 3/4 cup Woodchuck Semi-Dry – Find your favorite Woodchuck near you!
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and slowly add your flour until smooth. Add the milk and hard cider (feel free to sip on any remaining!), and bring to a simmer until the sauce starts to thicken. Whisk in the Worcestershire, dijon, and paprika, and then slowly add handfuls of the cheese until melted. Once smooth, transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately with your favorite pretzels!Back to Blog
