You heard correctly… only 20 days until Ciderstock. Can you believe it? As we impatiently wait for the stage to unfold, we’ll spend today reveling in one of our reasons for the epic celebration. It’s 8/02… time to appreciate good ol’ 802 the one and only area code for our great state! Woodchuck is a proud Vermont company. Our roots have been and will always remain in the Green Mountains. With that said, today we’re excited to highlight our two bands for Ciderstock 2015 that call the 802 home! Both Kat Wright & the Indomitable Soul Band and Madaila are Vermont born and brewed. Kat Wright & the Indomitable Soul Band
On the first Thursday of every month, Burlington folks flock to Radio Bean for local soul music. Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band have a residency for the late night time slot, and fill the space with hypnotizing vocals and smooth sounds. The eight piece band formed back in 2010 is made up of Kat Wright, Shane Hardiman, Gabriel Jarrett, Josh Weinstein, Bob Wagner, Jake Whitesell, Dave Purcell, and Luke LaPlant. Opening for our two headliners at Ciderstock, Kat Wright will no doubt enchant the crowd!
Madaila
Upbeat, synth-heavy, and catchy. That’s how you describe the fun sounds from our 2nd Vermont talent, Madaila! The pop and dance rock group is made up of five stellar performers who bring nothing but energy to the stage. We can’t wait for Mark Daly, Willoughby Morse, Eric B. Maier, Dan Ryan and Jer Coons to kick off Ciderstock in just 20 days!
