It’s hard not to applaud the one who brought pulled pork to the potluck. Add an ice cold cider, and your meals complete.

Ready for your own applause? For those who think pulled pork might be a stretch out of their cooking league, think again. This simple and satisfying recipe takes little effort, with only THREE INGREDIENTS! Wow your friends and family with this easy Woodchuck Cider Pulled Pork!

Woodchuck Cider Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • (2) 12 oz. bottles of Woodchuck Cider (We used Gumption!)
  • (1) 4-6 lb. Pork Shoulder (a little larger if bone-in)
  • (3) cups of your favorite BBQ Sauce

Recipe

Stick your pork shoulder into a slow cooker crock-pot, pour 1 1/2 bottles of your preferred Woodchuck Cider on top (go ahead and drink the other half!) and turn the cooker to low. Add 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, and let sit for about eight (8) hours or overnight.

Once time is up, shred the pork and remove the bone. Add the remaining BBQ sauce and cook on low for one more hour, then let sit on the serve setting.

We suggest some shredded cheddar cheese sprinkled on top after scooping onto a toasted bun, and of course bring on a side of coleslaw and fries. Now grab a cold ‘Chuck, take a seat at the table, and enjoy!

Want to freshin’ up your bevvie? Throw a couple Woodchuck Watermelon Cocktail Cubes in your cider for some added fun!
