10 acts you need to see at Bonnaroo 2014

Woodchuck Bonnaroo 2014

One of the great music events of the summer, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has finally arrived! As this is our eighth year pouring at ‘Roo, we’ve seen some amazing performances from The Roots’ Questlove tearing up the stage with Led Zepplin’s John Paul Jones in 2007, to last year’s epic Paul McCartney set, we’ve always come away with a story and a smile on our faces. We can’t wait to head south and hang out with you all at the Broo’ers Festival in Centeroo.

Not only is Bonnaroo pushing summer into full swing, but it’s also getting us excited for our upcoming CIDERBRATION™ on August 23rd! (You’ll see why when you get to our #1 act recommendation!)  So as you road trip your way to Manchester and The Farm, check out these 10 acts you need to see at this year’s Bonnaroo. It’s time to Give A ‘Chuck™ about great live music? We’re ready 2 ‘Roo!
10. Any SuperJam. Always amazing. These are “one time only” performances with music legends and the vibes are always great!

9. Carolina Chocolate Drops. We’ve seen these folks perform here in Vermont. Great energy and super fun!

8. MS MR. Check this duo out. We think they’re going to be big.

7. Cloud Nothings. Their new album is in a constant rotation here at the Cidery. Don’t miss them.

6. White Denim. Indie rock at its best. Can’t wait for their set.

5. Caveman. Something about this band gets us every time we listen. If you like the Shins, Caveman’s set is not to miss.

4. First Aid Kit. When we heard the announcement they were playing Bonnaroo, all we could say was “oh, yes.”

3. Typhoon. This band has been in our music mix since their 2011 EP “A New Kind of House” (which is totally worth a listen). They just keep getting better!

2. Lake Street Dive. These New Englanders are going to blow up. Catch them when they play. Seriously.

Infectious energy and riffs reminiscent ofthe music of the 60’s, we can’t wait to see Dr. Dog this weekend and at our Ciderbration August 23rd in Vermont!
