Whether it’s a pool within your mashed potatoes, or a drizzle over your entire dish, gravy sneaks onto almost everyone’s plate in some shape or form. As for the recipes? The Woodchuck® Winter Cider Gravy

The Woodchuck® Winter Cider Gravy is a great recipe option, using one of our limited releases. The seasonal Winter cider is aged with French and traditional oak, and is finished with a touch of vanilla. This on top of the drippings from your turkey, or a savory chicken broth creates an unbeatable combination. Intrigued? Well here’s that simple recipe to spice up that Thanksgiving feast!

The Woodchuck®  Winter Cider Gravy

This recipe yields 8-10 servings.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of Turkey Stock, or Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup of Woodchuck®  Limited Release Winter Cider
  • 6 tbsp. of unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • Dash of salt and pepper

Recipe:

Over medium-heat, combine the flour and the butter in a saucepan. Whisk this mixture until smooth.

Once the mixture is smooth, add both the Turkey stock (or Chicken Broth) and the Woodchuck® Winter Cider with continuous stirring. Add the parsley, and a dash of salt and pepper. Continue to stir and let cook for 4-5 minutes.

Find your finest gravy boat, fill with the mouth-watering gravy, and stick right on your Thanksgiving table!
