Remembering Elle

In January, Woodchuck® lost a loyal friend and Community member. Lee Ann “Elle” Ritchotte was a bright and enthusiastic member of the food blogging community. As the brilliance behind Elle’s New England Kitchen, “Elle” was a devout supporter of Woodchuck Cider. Elle would frequently highlight Woodchuck in her delectable recipes, providing passion for our cider offerings and showing how they could bring new life to foods.

To help remember her, we are honored to be a part of Elle-a-Palooza. Close friends have created a silent auction in loving memory of Elle, for the benefit of her family. In this auction, you will be able to bid on Elle’s hand-made jewelry, and other products that have been donated from companies she loved, including Woodchuck Cider.

The Auction began on March 17th, at 1:00 PM EST, and will end on March 31st at 1:00PM EST. Be a part of this cause, and help support Elle’s family while celebrating the legacy that she left behind.

As pictured below, we also celebrated Elle by recreating one of her recipes that she she shared with us made with our Private Reserve Belgian White Cider.

Want to make it yourself? Find Elle’s recipe for Woodchuck Belgian White Hard Cider Garlic Shrimp and Bacon Pizza here. If you don’t have Belgian White available, Amber, 802 or Granny Smith are good substitutes. It also pairs perfectly with any of our Core ciders.

Thank you, Elle, for sharing your passion for life, food, and cider with us. We raise a pint to you.
