Ready for your weekend Woodchuck®? Who isn’t! As you reach that last sip of cider, you’re inevitably left with an empty 6-pack. What now? Hopefully that initial response is to throw those bottles and packaging right into the recycling bin. Is that your only option? With Earth Week upon us, we looked to our fans for some inspiration. What did we find? A whole lot of Upcycling!

Upcycling is the process of repurposing your waste into new products or useful materials. By taking a different look at your refuse, you can upcycle and old tire into a flower bed, or a broken ladder into a bookshelf! What could you do with your empty cider bottles? Direct from our fans, here are 5 Ways to Upcycle your Woodchuck®.

5 Ways to Upcycle your Woodchuck

1. Turn your Woodchuck Bottle into a vase!

Ready for fresh cut flowers this spring? Add some zest to your bouquet, and display them in a colorful Woodchuck bottle! Savanah M. from Texas found that the colorful glass caught the sunlight just right.

 2. Wish you had more than 2 hands? Turn your 6-pack into a crafts carrier!

With only 2 hands, it’s difficult to get from your basement up to porch where you’re getting crafty. Make it easier and stick all of your supplies in the different pockets of your Woodchuck 6-pack! Nick P. from New Jersey found that not only is it a great way to get your things from point A to B, but it’s a great way to have summer year round!

One of the more impressive ways to upcycle Woodchuck bottle caps, Amanda R. from Vermont made these incredible earrings. Needless to say, they’re a favorite here at the cidery!

 4. Having a candlelit meal? Let Woodchuck bottle candle holders up the romance!

Add some extra color to those candles by using Woodchuck bottles as a holder. Caity S. from Pennsylvania gave us a tip, and said to just melt the bottom of the candle before sticking it through the mouth of the bottle. We were partial to the colorful leaves on the Fall limited release, how about you?

5. Does a Woodchuck Variety Pack puppy bed get much cuter?

It may be quickly outgrown, but Kirby M. from North Carolina proved that there’s nothing cuter than upcycling your Woodchuck Variety Pack into a puppy bed. Looks like we’ll just have to have puppies around all the time!
